Rooted in the Land, Raised by Tradition

Teche Lake Outfitters isn’t just a hunting preserve—it’s a way of life, shaped by generations of family, hard work, and an unshakable respect for the land. Our property in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, is a working cattle ranch, a place of native grasses and migrating birds, of stories passed down and new ones waiting to be made.

We’re building something here that feels old and new all at once. A place where modern hunters can reconnect with timeless values. Where upland game birds fly through prairie and oak groves. Where a well-trained dog’s point still gives you chills. And where the only thing more abundant than the birds is the heart we put into each hunt.

More Than a Hunt—An Invitation

We don’t sell guaranteed kills. We offer real opportunities. Some days the birds flush strong, others you walk a little more. But we keep it honest. We walk the fields before you do. We release birds with intention. We train our own dogs and guide our own hunts, ensuring that what you get is personal—not packaged.

We welcome seasoned bird hunters with their own dogs, and we love introducing first-timers to the beauty and rhythm of upland hunting. Either way, you’ll leave with a story—and probably a few feathers in your cap.

Preserving Land and Legacy

This isn’t a resort. This is a place where the dogs ride in the truck bed, the kids run barefoot after chores, and your guide might just hand you a homegrown tomato on the porch after a morning in the field. We honor the land by using it wisely—rotating food plots, maintaining native cover, and ensuring bird habitat coexists with cattle and community.

We believe that the hunt is sacred, and we treat it that way. Join us at Teche Lake, and you’ll understand why we say this isn’t a business—it’s a birthright.
